Capture One on Apple's ARM chips?

Would be great to know whether Capture One works on Apple's ARM machines on day one,

Would be better, IMHO, if they fixed outstanding issues for their customer base running on current hardware.  Moving from OpenGL to metal would be a step in the right direction for both existing and future platforms.

I expect that the vast majority of existing programs will work on day one because Rosetta 2.  That doesn't mean Capture One would be one of those programs.  I also expect that the majority of programs will work natively on current and future hardware by simply re-compiling using the appropriate version of Xcode.

Just my opinion.   Don't expect anyone else to agree.

P1 never ever comment future projects, you can apply for beta tester to find out, but you have to sign NDA

If they are, it should be really easy to get C1 to run natively on iOS devices. C1 on an iPad Pro. Please take my money.

is C1 still using OpenGL?   I recall reading that ARM chips require Metal, even via Rosetta 2.  I hope that my memory is wrong.

Peter, how do we enroll in the beta program? I don't mind signing and obeying an NDA.  I would focus on testing the tethering to MacIntosh which is essential but often a tricky issue with new OS releases, IMHO.  Thank you.

You have to contact support with good arguments i believe. Here the developer kit imac mini with ARM chip ownership may help :)
