If you click on the ... then on Show/Hide Filters, you should get a popup looking something like this.

Do you not get that? Could it perhaps have popped up behind the main window?

    I get to "Show/Hide Filters      ...".

After clicking on the ellipsis, I do NOT get the dialog you pictured.

I have tried minimizing the main window and pressing ⌘⇧~

    The dialog is still missing.

As I said, restarting the app or the OS does not solve the problem, nor did doing the recent app update.

Should I try preference trashing? What would I lose?

    How about reinstalling C1?

    Thanks for your help,

    Steve

Someone with more experience than I have had better answer that for you.

Have you tried Support (use Submit a request at the top right of this page)?

Got an answer from Support. I have a single (Dell UP3216Q) display, but it was connected with two cables, a DisplayPort and an HDMI. This had worked fine until recently. The Dell showed up as two displays in System Preferences, but there was no problem. Possibly because of an Apple Software update, this changed. When I disconnected the DisplayPort, the dialog box showed up as it did before.

Stephen, You might want to check your Dell Monitor documentation. I have found that you get the best resolution using DisplayPort.
