I’m using the Capture Pilot mobile app via an iPad Pro (new 4th gen) and the images advance but load extremely slowly or not at all on play mode (ie, black screen with spinning wheel, though this is nothing new for capture pilot 🙄) so my clients prefer to keep it paused and manually advance by swiping on the screen, applying star ratings as the shoot is still progressing. No issues with this clients’ workflow preference for the past 8 months (shooting monthly) but the last project we had in late December a new issue developed. The app completely freezes while trying to advance through images during the shoot and has to be continually restarted on the iPad. Session folder size makes no difference, nor does changing the image preview size in capture one preferences. We have tested it on 2 different iPhones as well (one older model X that is up to date and another newer iPhone X that is 2 updates behind) and the problem is the same on those. We also tried 2 different cameras, same result. I also opened Capture One 20 which is still on this machine and same thing. Primary machine is a Mac tower (trashcan) but have also seen issue on my MacBook Pro (2019, so not brand new but not old either). My clients’ timeline for their images is such that they really need to be able to make selections on the spot independent of the primary digi computer we’re tethered to. And this has never been an issue before so I’m really stumped. We are running Capture One Pro 21 version 188.8.131.52, shooting tethered to a Mac (trashcan tower) with a canon 1dx mark 2 (and 1dx mark 1).
