cone 21 does not open Nikon z6II files.
The Nikon6II is around 3 Month in the marked by now and there is still no support for this camera. I just upgraded from 20 to 21 and paid a hefti 199,- usd for it. just to find out that besides all the old bugs wich where existing in 20 are still unsolved and in addition there is still no support for the new Nikon Z II. I am a user of C1 for some Years now and never have been dissapointed heavier by any kind of SW upgrad as the one now issued with c 21. I participated in the Beta Testing for c21 also this time and are rather surprised that non of my rports on bugs have been attended to. They are all pretty much alive in the version i just paid 199,- usd for. Although there is no adition feature beside minor gimmics in version c21 (one would have been waiting at least some feature like Gaussian Blur or others related to this kind of editor SW). I anyway paid for this upgrade just to show my fidelity.
All this said, Pls release asap the support for Z II .If this is not done within the next 48 Hours I am going to request for a refound. I am using this Camera and your software for making a living.
Otherwise Phase One Products are not in my future Plans anymore.
Kind Regards Uwe Stolten

According to Nikon Rumors you'll have to wait till the end of month ...
"Capture One will add support for the latest Nikon Z6 II and Z7 II cameras at the end of the month (January 2021):
“We’ve been receiving many requests for support for Nikon Z6II and Z7II – so we’re letting you know ahead of time that we will now be adding support for these cameras. It will be included in the upcoming Capture One 21 service update to be released by the end of this month which will include various new supported cameras and bug fixes.”"

The Z6II was released (I mean available to buy) in the 2nd week in November in most places. The Z7 II was released around december 18th.
I did a quick compare between Adobe dng version of some of my pics and the default raw processing in Capture one. I am happy I am using CaptureOne. Supporting is one thing, doing a good job a completely different one. Assuming that CaptureOne get's camera's in advance is most likely not true, so they need to stay in line, get a camera, test it, tweak their converters to get good results. This takes time.
But thumping your chest and demanding a refund in 48 hours. I wish i would see how that goes, given the fact that you knew what you were paying for.
