View selected color range does not respect layer mask
AnsweredWhen you click on "view selected color range" (in the Advanced color editor), the preview renders all but the selected colors in grey-scale. That's pretty cool, but it apparently does to respect the layer mask. You also see the colors that would be masked out by the layer mask. It would be nice to see only the colors that will be adjusted.
It is a detail ... but it would be a nice change. Also, "respect layer mask" could be enabled/disable in preferences for those who like it as is.

I proposed for for "Color Range" similar to Luma Range that can be applied on the selected layer parametrically. Luma and Color range can work interactively to give us the mask we need based on selected luminance and HSL.
Jochen Wüst also acknowledged my proposal and he gave his own share of his use case to support the request.
Will C1 seriously consider this request or as usual go to black box?
But we will get standard reply from 'Lily' with no traceability of our requests...
