Capture One Problem by starting the software, please HELP!
Hi there, I used Capture One 20 on an iMac with Mojave. After installing Capture One 21 the Programm will not start, only showing the start image and then immediately shuts down without any message. Even reinstalled Capture One 20 will not start any more. Can somebody help me please? Thanks!
On my Macbook it works, same MacOS.

I think you may need to remove all traces of C1 and start again.

I have the same problem as Detlef Kurth. And thank you James Grove for pointing towards a potential solution, my rant is in no way a criticism of the messenger!
Unfortunately, I haven't had such a good result. I have also gone through the rather involved uninstall process, at least four times, and I can get neither Capture One 20 nor Capture One 21 to go past 'trying' to open, or create a new Catalogue, or anything productive at all.
In order to get to that stage, I have to press the Option key to stop it from just crashing and disappearing.
Downgrading the Mac OS system back to High Sierra (10.13.6) allows me to use either version but neither are functional with Mohave (10.14.6).
I'm sad ... very, very sad :-( and substantially out of pocket in money and lost hours amounting to days. In order to keep up to date with my Adobe products, I have to use Mohave but I now cannot use my preferred photo app Capture One except on High Sierra.
It wouldn't be so bad if the uninstall process wasn't so convoluted and as it seems to be a crucial part of the upgrade process it should really be integrated within the app or at least as a discreet app within the Contents package. Having to dip into various folders in the Library and even having to use Terminal commands all in a particular order is ridiculous.
