Well CaptureOne promised that they're going to fix it for Version 20 and Version 21.

So they're probably not going to do it....

They just say that Capture One will use Rosetta-2 to run on ARM-based Mac computers, and it should work, except for tethering, as far as I understand (but X-T30 can't be tethered):

In the meantime, Capture One will run on ARM-based Mac computers using Rosetta 2 emulation platform although with one known limitation concerning tethering. This issue will be addressed in upcoming releases of Capture One 20 and Capture One 21. In the meantime, if tethering is critical to your workflow we discourage you from using it until we release the updated version of Capture One for ARM-based Macs.

I think this has nothing to do with the Fuji films simulation. Anyway, this issue is worth submitting a request.

How long does I take to migrate an app used by thousands to a new system. They have had months to do this. They had better hurry up as Apple are already in talks about new iMac's and Mac Pro's using the silicon chips. Intel is no longer going to be used down the line.

I think I might just go an download a more reliable app like Iridient developer that is already working seamlessly with the M1 system and the support I received from using the platform in the past was nothing short of superb. not like this joke of a company. 2 weeks to get a reply and it's as if they didn't even read the query I sent the first time. Asked me things I already tried and stated in the post. Useless.

    Hi Gary,

I didn't know Iridient supported the Fuji films simulation presets. Is it a new improvement ?

    Thanks

Yeah - they have had the presets for about 2-3 years now. They work very well. you can download them from https://www.iridientdigital.com/rawdeveloper/settings/

the only reason I moved to Capture one was because of the speed - iridient is hard on the processor and needs a quad core unit and above - strangely the presets are now working on the Mac M1 as of last night. haven't a clue how it kicked in as it was not working at all.

we'll play I by ear now going forward. contemplating capture one 21 but the support is brutal

The program freezes and is useless on my ARM chip Mac at present, disappointing.   Lightroom and DXO work beautifully....

After having to clear my Mac yesterday and reinstalling C1/20 , again no presets - WTf is wrong with this platform

I am seriously debating this and going back to Iridient. Downloaded a trial again and it was working fine in Iridient developer without a hiccup. yet these people who have a way larger budget can't even get it right.

Hi Gary! The Fujifilm simulations is not found from presets. They are in Base Characteristics tool under Curve.
