    I have experienced the same thing.    Hasn't happened in a bit and when it did I could not figure any pattern to be able to reproduce it.

    What version of Capture One are you on? I used to experience this problem, but I don't think I have since the most recent update.

    It was less noticable to me in the latest patches of v20, maybe it's back in v21.

    Yes it definitely is. And seems like development have serious architectural problem because they can not completely solve this in at least three major versions already.

    Maybe they will re-write the code and will give us a near-bug-free well-performing application with the new funds they want to rise from the upcoming price increase....

    That would be fair. Sadly I won't be able to get second trial month and discover the beauty of a near-bug-free well-performing capture one 37 😊

    I remember experiencing this bug back on C1v12. Might not be the same bug now, but at the time I was able to reliably replicate it.

    Bizarrely, the undo button would become disabled if pressing two different left mouse buttons at the same time. Bear with me! I have a keyboard with a built-in track pad and mouse buttons, plus a standard USB mouse. While using a brush, if the left mouse button on the keyboard and on the mouse got pressed at the same time, this would break the undo function. The same would happen with a laptop and external mouse.

    That's very interesting Simon.

    I wasn't able to reprduce it reliably without tons of user actions including masking, but you seem to have nailed it.

    I use a Wacom tablet and a mouse, and for masking I sometimes leftclick the mouse and hover with the pen over the tablet surface without touching / tapping it, and then again I disengage the mouse buttons but tap-move with the pen on the surface. (the latter is the norm)

    Changing from one method to the other can result in a simultaneous left-click (mouse) and tap (pen)

    -> undo disabled

    I am using v13.1.3.13

    BeO I've just tried this in the latest build, v14.0.2.36 (Windows) and have not been able to recreate. I reported this to C1 Support on v12. I remember testing after the v13.0.0.0 release and it seemed to be fixed, at least I was unable to recreate. Maybe the bug came back in a later release. So far, I cannot reproduce it in the current v14 release.

    BeO hopefully though at least knowing the action that causes this will help you to work around it until there's another fix available. It would be worth raising a support request though as they've fixed it before so I would expect it to be easy to fix again.

    Very helpful to know indeed, thanks for providing this information, even in case there might be other reasons, I can at least avoid this cause.

    They won't fix anything in v20 anymore...

    After updating to v14.0.2.36 undo functionality seems to work as it should. Edited few photos which involved heavy face retouching (bunch of cloning, dodge & burn etc) without any problems.
