not working Barcode setup

Hello 
I am using a LS22018 scanner and I tried everything with pre and suffix.

I was using "." , Tab.Tab, Enter.Enter, but nothing works. I allways get the note, "Make sure to use non-printable charakters.

 

Can you tell with one I can use?

    Yea those are all printed - even tab (as a tab space), or return (a carriage return) and these would be added to the string sent to to Capture One. Not ideal. 

    Non printable ASCII characters are things like that used to represent (e.g.) "F12" key press.  

    If you look up your scanners documentation you will find the symbology for F12, usually a 4 digit character sequence representing the ASCII code for it. This is what I use - so I know it works with the LS scanner.
