Capture One for iPad Pro

I _WANT_ to switch to a Workflow that is focused around the new M1-equipped iPad Pro (2021), but that would require Capture One Pro be available for iPadOS.

Since iPadOS now runs on Apple Silicon M1 SOCs/Chipsets, just as MacOS does; it seems silly that PhaseOne isn't releasing or at least announcing the port/development of a version with native support for iPadOS and the M1-based iPad Pro (2021).

Please do this. Make us happy. It would be nice not to be stuck with Affinity and Adobe. Especially for Fujifilm shooters. AFAIK Lightroom still doesn't like .RAF files that much.

Workflow support on the new iPad Pro would be great!

In my opinion "Session" mechanism may suit well for iPad version as it is easily portable between iPad and Computer. If iCloud like service is used, synchronization will be automatic, C1 doesn't need to do anything.

Below listed Tool sets can be as part of initial iPad release....
    1. Capture (Tether)
    2. Session
    3. ICC/Lens Profiles
    4. Crop / Straighten
    5. White Balance
    6. Exposure
    7. HDR
    8. Clarity / Structure (Natural only - No other options)
    9. Dehaze (Auto only)
    10. Levels & Curves
    11. Color Balance
    12. Color Editor (Basic Only)
    13. Black & White
    14. Sharpening / Noise Reduction
    15. Export
    - Layers and associated features package and Styles /Style Brushes can be part of future releases.

I need a capture one version for the new M1-iPad Pro.

I would like to have the same workflow as on my iMac if possible!

    No C1-Pilot!

The connection over wi-fi is to slow when i am on a outdoor shooting position.

I use a cardreader-adapter on iPad that is way more fast and efficient than wiFi !!!!

Maybe now we'll get a wifi app that was promised over two years ago to accompany the flagship IQ4 back. The ability to preview images in the field via Capture Pilot disappeared  when "upgrading" from the IQ3 to the IQ4

    +1

Adding ipad support will be a killer feature!
It already supports m1, so technically it can run on iPad. A lot of work has to be done yet, I understand.

But can you tell us at least whether you plan it at all in future?

Lots of comments about running C1 Pro on iPad and I agree with all of them. I use Leica and have found that C1 gets the best out on the Leica Raw file - after all what’s the point in spending lots of dosh on kit ( of any make ) if the IQ isn’t there..

But for me it’s not just the IQ it’s the ability to handle and apply base adjustments to lots of images. Photoshop, DXO or Affinity Photo don’t do this. I find Lightroom a bit clunky but it is getting better.

Whether it’s Affinity, DXO etc they produce a version for the Mac ( MBP or iMac ) the market is open for them to get a jump on Phase One or Adobe by producing a version of Lightroom
/ C1 for the Apple Metal chip. Like affinity did for the traditional Photoshop market at a lower cost.
