New to Capture 21: very few plugins?
I'm done with Adobe and on1, licensed Capture One but immediately noticed there are very few plugins. I was always using export plugins for Smugmug, flickr, etc etc.
Are there independent vendors for Capture One? Thank you.

I haven't found many, and it looks like the main one I've used (from Helicon Focus) isn't being updated. When I contacted a developer whose app I wished had a plug-in, I was told that C1's implementation—which requires quite different code bases for Windows and Macs—is very cumbersome to work with, and he wasn't interested.
Alternatives:
1. If you already have an app that's both freestanding and has an Adobe plug-in, use "Edit With" in C1 and use the plug-in's freestanding app as the editor.
2. Create Process Recipes for formats you want to export, and consider creating AppleScripts to upload to your online repositories.
3. Do it the old fashioned way: create Process Recipes and manually upload to your repositories. It really isn't that much work and might give you more control over where files go. I'm referring here to subfolders, slideshows, etc. that you might have in your online repositories.

Not only that, C1P doesn’t allow pixel level plugins so the whole plugin concept is pretty useless at C1P, they are more like shortcuts.
