Capture One Express no longer free
google 'capture one express' and you get:-
"Get free auto editing tools to boost your Fujifilm photos. Not a trial – unlimited use. Import and edit photos fast with Capture One Express. It's easy and completely free."
This appears to be out of date its no longer 'Not a trial – unlimited', I can only find a 'free trial' download option for 30 days. Am I correct in the assumption that this is no longer free and unlimited as described but just a trial.

Download button here doesn't work for you? https://www.captureone.com/en/capture-one-express/fujifilm
You do need to register an account. To me it seems like the free express version for Fujifilm is still available.
The trial you find via "download free trial" in the top-right corner is for the pro version(s).0 -
Ron,
The downloads are the same but the functionality available is controlled by the Activation key that is made available.
When you click to download the software from the specific Express for the linked page you should see a license activation key on the screen that you can copy and paste into the activation field when you open the software.
If you have already installed and activated it as a trial you will need to de-activate the trial and then re-activate with the Express key.

Still confused but found a way to install old file (I lost stuff when I tried to install Windows 11)
Installed 'Capture One 21.Win.14.2.0.exe file on Windows 10 then used old activation key
Seemed to be OK. However when checking out 'Check for updates' its got version 15.0.0.
as a available update - this only seems to link to a trial version of 22 ?
Not really important now I've got old version going so can edit Fuji .RAF files
Thanks for all advise.0
