I am not seeing this with Win 10 Pro / Nvidia GPU. If this is not impacting others looks like a machine specific issue. As it is on 2 of your computers suggests a possible software interaction?

I understand that. But what would cause this to happen between two versions?

I have reverted back to version 14.3.1 and everything is fine again. So I am now using this version. Something must have changed in CO in the file-handling, - even if it apparently only happens on my computers :)

The problem still exists with the new version 14.4.1 and is obviously not due to the hardware.

I have it on my desktop computer (i5-6500, HD Graphics 530, 2 dedicated SSD for OS and data) as well as on my notebook (Ryzen 7 3700U, Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx, SSD). It occurs both when scrolling in the browser and when selecting a single image for the purpose of preview. We are talking about a perceived slowdown by a factor of 10-20+.

Returning to version 14.3.1 solves the problem. The recent versions of the software cannot be used for smooth work.

    Can you please investigate. Thanks.

Thanks, Frank, - exactly my experience. - I keep rejecting updates at the moment.

I even timed scrolling through 30 pictures (just holding down the arrow-key), and in 14.4.0 it took 27 seconds. In 14.3.1 it took 2.9 seconds.

Even loading one image is considerably slower.

I'm experiencing the exact same problem since upgrading to 14.4.0.

14.4.1 did not improve anything. Very frustrating!

I also notice the fan in my laptop keeps spinning like crazy when C1 is open, even when I'm not actively working on anything. As soon as I close C1 it slows down to normal levels again. In previous versions of C1 the fan only increased speed during batch exporting of multiple images. Clearly something has changed, and not for the better...

Had no issues with previous versions btw

I am seeing the same behavior in version 14.4.1 on Windows 10 20H2. I have skipped 14.4.0, there were no problems with previous versions.
