Thanks for that. That was one of the first things I checked.

It turns out that the premium service that comes along with a $54,000.00 digital back isn't really what you pay for. Meaning Phase One has lied to its customers and stated that Capture One is exclusively available to edit and process without any limitations when purchasing a new digital back.

The reason the export and editing feature is not available is because they have chosen to lock it out of the DB users most recent update. So they have degraded a product we purchased on this most recent update of Capture One. Additionally Phase One tried to use the line on me that Capture One and Phase One are different companies - but only how you choose to fie your taxes - not a users problem. Capture One was developed by Phase One and in 2020 they decided to get sneaky.

Shouldn't each contractually purchased order prior to the C1 and P1 2020 split fall under obligation of both companies? They never put it in writing clearing themselves of these underlying intentions. They've put themselves in a bad position legally.

So you knew your answers before your original post…There are no free lunches and I don’t mind paying a yearly fee to constantly have their updated version..
No hobby is without some expenses and photography can be quite expensive…A good lens is $1,5k etc…
