Otherwise, commit below if these are things that bug you as well and maybe we can get the engineers to make a few small updates.

    Hi David

    - Select multiple star ratings at once in the filter box (show me 3 star and 4 star images, for example)

I can select multiple criteria (eg: green tag plus 3 or 4 stars) by holding down the Command key when selecting the relevant criteria.

Perfect! Not sure how I didn't think of trying that, thanks.

    - Ability to select multiple folders

    +1

Lr had this since the beta back in 2006... very useful. should be added just for usability consistency.

to your last point: Try deleting with CRTL+CMD+DEL. that will throw the panels shown so you may make your  deletion choice, which as I understand it is to permanently delete the less-useful images.

Works in both browser and edit modes.

In Browser mode Shift+Click to select contiguous items, or CMD+Click to select discontiguous items.

Thanks! Found it - it's actually SHIFT+CMD+DEL, which is "delete from disk." Apparently, just deleting only moves the image to the "catalog trash." I read the documentation on catalog trash on the C1 site and still can't wrap my brain around it. In my case, I'm creating a second version of the original image - a b&w tiff. If I don't like it, I want to just delete it forever. Obviously, I don't want to delete to original, raw color image. I suppose I'll just use "delete from disk" from now on - hopefully it won't touch the original.

But also, for my existing catalog, how do I see and delete the b&w tiff images that are already in the catalog trash? The "empty catalog trash" menu item is greyed out no matter what I do or select. FYI - the "trash" under catalog collections is empty. But all those b&w's still show up in my 4-star smart album. I'd rather not delete them one by one because there are many of them spread throughout the year. Thanks.
