Registration problem

I bought licence for 2 computers, but I can't activate second licence on my second computer. Even if I see in Licence management "Activations remaining:1", when I put my licence key to my computer, I get the red answer "Could not activate because the upgrade limit is exceeted". I never tried to register this software to another computer. Can you help?

    Perhaps you need to deactivate an older version?

    I didn't use any older version (even trial). CO22 is my first.

    Do you have one system successfully activated and one that refuses to activate using the same activation key?

    If so, is the first successful system activation on a system that is running when you attempt to activate the second system?

    In that situation it might be worth trying to turn off the first system to see if the second will then activate. I know it does not seem to relate to the message but would be a quick thing to try.

    What you have described is not a problem I have seen but since the "activations" are not intended to be used concurrently (according to the terms and conditions of the license) I am just wondering whether there might be some sort of issue attempting to register the second device.

    The problem may be something completely different to that and the test may not help you - but for a few minutes of work it may be worth trying IF you have had the first system running when attempting to activate the second system.

    Now I figured that problem is only with new version 22. I bought, downloaded and installed on my first computer Januar 6th. It was ver. 21 for Sony. Everyhing was fine. Now I downloaded on my new macbook version 22 and tried to activate. No way. I tried also deactivate all licences, it was OK. On first computer with installed v21 was activation OK again. So I tried to use the same older installer (v21) on my new computer and worked fine. But I cant upgrade to v22 on any of my computer. So Licences doesn't works with v22 on any of my mac.

    How did you manage to buy a V21 license on Jan 6th?   (Assuming that was 2022!) 

    By that time, as far as I could tell, only V22 licenses were being sold. They could also be used to activate V21 and earlier versions if required.
