Z9 HE*RAW FILES
When....when....when will capture solve this????? When are you going to fix this issue? The Z9 has been out long enough for capture to see this compressed RAW files. I shoot a lot in my job and I don't want or need to be to shooting the full RAW capacity of the Z9. I'm burning through hard drives . Please fix this issue

Then you should be "professional" enough not to find yourself reliant on software that doesn't currently support what you're shooting.
That you are, isn't Capture One's fault - you need to own your decisions.
Did you even look?

Keith & Shane, you guys are a bunch of vultures! Reminds me of the bullies in school.
I've been having the same issue as Tom and it is very frustrating. On top of that, my Z9 drops the tethering connection every 10 seconds, so that needs to be addressed as well.
Learn to empathize with others and offer a solution (even if it's already posted on another thread). You guys did not learn how to navigate a forum overnight.. give someone a chance!
Normally I would never chime in to these things and express my thoughts, but it's crazy how hostile people can be behind a screen.

Ok. Don't use high efficiency raw until it's supported by the software you use.
On top of that, my Z9 drops the tethering connection every 10 seconds, so that needs to be addressed as well.
Assuming you have tried another cable, to be sure it's not that, I suggest you "submit a request" to Capture One (see link at the top left of this screen).

I’ve tried 2 different cables with no luck.
Just calling it as I see it, but you’re absolutely right. 2 wrongs don’t make a right. I appreciate you calling me out. How’s this one: If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say it. Treat people the way you want to be treated.
There are a lot of people on this forum and many others, that avoid asking for help for the same reasons I do. This should be a place for community.

I’ve tried 2 different cables with no luck.
Hopefully, I'll have my Z9 by the end of the week, so I have no insights from practical experience with this gear - but:
- is firmware up to date?
- I assume you've tried a different USB connector on your Mac?
In my experience, tethering works well when it works, but it can be a bit flakey.
