Problems making process recipes to export panos - HELP PLEASE!
I have sent an email for support help but who knows how long it will take to get a reply! Please could anyone help me to solve my problem, I have watched tutorial videos but I still can't manage to set up the recipes! and I don't know what I am doing wrong!
Hi
I have been making some panos which have been going well however I now need to export them
However I am having trouble making new export recipes to export them
My Photo library requires these specifications
1. Aspect rato - 2x1
Size - 8,000 x 4,000 pixels
2. Aspect ration - 16x7
Size - 10.000 x 3,529
I need export recipes for both
TIFF and JPEG files (highest quality)
Jpeg files at size 1,000 pixels for photo library previews (this I managed to do, but I did that before I upgraded to 22)
I have successfully managed to change the built in TIFF Adobe RGB (1998) 8bit profile to export as 8,000 pix on the long edge - but I couldn’t manage to make a custom recipe!
In the crop tool have
Ratio 2x1
Size 8,000 x 4000
Then in export recipes I have ticked and highlighted
TIFF Adobe RGB (1998) 8bit profile
Resolution 300 px/in
Size - long edge 8,000pix
Crop - respect crop
Export summery says
Size 8,000x4,000
Scale 116%
File size 92mb
Great that’s working fine and my final file is 8,000x4000
NOW I want to make a process recipe to export these panos as JPEG files
So I have now unticked the TIFF Adobe RGB (1998) 8bit profile
Clicked the plus sign
Called the recipe JPEG Panos 2x1, 8,000
Changed format to JPEG
Quality 100
Profile Adobe RGB (1998)
Resolution 300 px/in
Scale - long edge 8,000px
Crop - respect crop
NOW when I click export the long edge changes to 8 px
In the export summery it now says size 69x35px
Scale 1%
If I go back into the crop tool it tells me that the size is now 69x38 and won’t let me change the size
I would be SOOOO grateful If anyone know the answer what I am doing wrong

Can you paste screenshots from the Process recipe tool and the process summary tool here?

"Export recipe" and "Export summary " in v22 speech.

Thank you both for helping me - BeO - the screenshots were too big to upload and I'm not sure what your mean by "Export recipe" and "Export summary " in v22 speech.? but then I got Pavel's reply and I tried again putting in 10000 instead of 10,000 and hey ho it worked - sure I tried that before - I think it has a mind of its own!!! so I've now got the 10,000 tiff and jpeg export recipes done . Still trying to do the JPEG 2x1 8,000 - it still won't let me do that one but I'll keep trying. OHHHH It seems to not update when I put in 8000 BUT Just tried it again and this time I clicked in the export summery box and it then updated the long edge box and it stayed at 8000 and now the export summery is correct - HURRAY
There was one other way of doing it which I managed which was to click on the DNG file - show in finder, then copy that onto a portable hard drive - put it on old computer which I have Lightroom and p.shop 6 on and bring it into Lightroom, crop and export - but that is a long way round and my old computer is 10yrs old and could stop working at any moment - so I really need it to work in c.one (and I don't want to pay a monthly adobe fee)
exporting in Lightroom just works - don't really understand why it is so complicated in c.one!

Until v20 it was called Process recipe tool and the process summary, they got rid of the term process and renamed it to export.
It is not unusual in software input boxes that you have to leave the box to confirm your changes. I haven't noticed this in C1 Windows version though, at least not in v20 and before. But they not only changed the wording for processing but also the user interface...
