Cursor Tools disappearing after clicking on one of their items
Hello,
I just upgraded my MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2016) to the later C1 Pro version (build 15.2.0.77). After launching the application the first time, I couldn't locate the Cursor Tools (there's an empty space in the top panel). Now, every time I add them back by Customize Toolbar, they disappear after I click any of thei items (may it ben Select, Pan, Keynote, etc).
It's really frustrating. Did it also happen to any of you? How to submit a bug report?
Thank you!

Yes Gianluca, it happens to me, too. I submitted a request by clicking "Submit a request" at the top right corner of this page. As beta-tester of the 15.2, I reported this bug twice (for two different beta versions), and.... nothing !!

Hello Robert, I now reported the bug as well, including a screen recording. Very frustrating to be honest, and more so reading that you did it twice already when testing out the beta versions.

So much for beta testing.

I have the same issue, and for me it seems to be related to the "Italian" language.
as temporary workaround I changed the language of my Mac to English and everything is working fine.
I'm going to report this issue as well!
Cheers

Nice catch Piero! Unfortunately, my Mac is set up to use English (UK) as primary and only language since the beginning. I actually tried to switch it to Italian, try C1, go back to English, try C1, and every test failed.

Hi Gianluca, I'm sorry for you, probably I'm lucky with this bug and it appears only with Capture in Italian!
If I will have any answer from the support I will let you know.

Just to say I'm having this issue as well - exactly as described above. Running Monterey 12.1, 13" MBP, Capture One build 15.2.0.77

Hi Phil, if you didn't already may I ask you to report the bug by submitting a request (top right of the page)? The more we report it, the higher the chance it'll be fixed (and, hopefully, soon...). Thank you!

Hi Gianluca,
I did already - it is very annoying as an issue, it'll be fixed soon hopefully!
Cheers, Phil

Hi,
I reported the issue and I was told that this was added to the bug report.
Please anyone that have the same issue report it, so they can try to fix faster!
cheers

Folks, after a little bit of tinkering I've been finally able to find the solution - unfortunately, C1 support wasn't much of help. Anyways, in my case I tried to put the display resolution back to the default setting, as it was lower (do it by System Preferences > Display > Default for Display), and the bug hasn't since occurred again. Hope this helps!

Thanks Gianluca,
I tried you suggestion but unfortunately is not for me, I have a laptop and the resolution is the default one.
I also tried to use it in full screen mode, some other users says that they had no issue in full screen mode, but I still have the issue.
Just to summarise I have this issue when the computer (and Capture one) is running in Italian, I don't have when is running in English.
I also reported but they says that they added to the bug list and that they are going to let me know...
Cheers

To all,
Even in French this bug exists and it is frustrating. A lot of time lost and cursors moving. Switching to English language bothers me because I don't practice it properly. I use here deepL to communicate.
SincerelyA tous,
Même en français ce bug existe et il est frustrant. Beaucoup de perte de temps et de déplacements des curseurs. Passer en langue anglaise me gêne car je ne le pratique pas correctement. J'utilise ici deepL pour communiquer.
Cordialement

Hello,
that's correct, the support told me as well that they fixed it with the last update. I didn't have the chance to download it yet, hopefully I will experience the same :)
Thank you!

I'm experiencing the disappearing brush bug now with the latest build of CO 23 Pro (16.1.0126). Resize the brush and the brush rings appear, but soon disappear when I move the curser off of the brush settings menu. The same is true for the stamp, healing brush and eraser. Move the curser off the canvas and the brush rings reappear briefly but then immediately disappear. I never had this till this latest update though it seems many others have complained of this in various iterations of CO. I'm sorry I updated to gain the ability to bump background settings up to a layer. Without the ability to see your tools, the program is rendered fairly useless. Back to Adobe till they fix this.

I’m experiencing the same issue with the latest version of C1 v23, MacOS fully up to date too as of June 2023.
really annoying as this is the first version I have experienced this problem and the fact it has been known about for many months and numerous reports.be really good if C1 would at least put an acknowledgment on here about it.
