Capture1 does not see my Nikon z711.

However, my computer does and so does Lightroom. I have made all updates to computer, camera and just bought Capture1.

  I found with my Nikon Z7 I needed to remove the XQD card for tethering to work (although not with my Z6 ii)

  Yep, that's what the troubleshooting guidance recommends:

   Remove any storage cards from the camera as their presence often confuses the computer as to which method to connect to the camera. This is particularly relevant when using macOS Catalina, as a full memory card can cause a tethering session timeout

  I took out my cards and C1 still does not see my z711. I wish I could actually talk with a tech persons at C1. is that possible?

  Have you gone into C1 preferences then capture, and clicked the relevant Nikon box?

  Check out if Allowing Capture One to have full access on macOS could solve it
