Has 22 disconnected Rotation & Flip from Orientation?
I'm using 21 and want to know if this is still a thing in 22 before I upgrade.
If I chose an orientation in Next Capture Adjustments, then refine my frame with the Straighten to, lets say .5* or something, then move the camera, etc., and want to reset the Rotation back to 0*. If I type 0 in the box it does what you'd expect. If I reset it using the little arrow button it reverts to default orientation based on what the camera wants to do and it takes the crop with it, so when I hit Left or Right in Rotation but it leaved the crop in the wrong orientation! So I wind up having to re-rotate AND re-crop if I make the mistake of re-setting the rotate function with the button.
Does 22 do this?

If I understand you, this isn't happening to me with 22.1.2.1. I can set a crop, then set a Rotation & Flip, then click the Reset arrow in Rotation & Flip and the crop stays as I set it. This is the same behavior I saw in 21 as well.
However, the best thing—just to make sure it's not your setup, why not try it yourself? Download a 30-day trial. If you do that, be sure to run on a copy of your catalog/session, as the current v22 upgrades the catalog to be incompatible with v21.

That's a good idea. I'll try that now.

Nope. Resetting the Rotation & Flip still resets Orientation, too. If I manually type 0 in the box it doesn't change my orientation, I just want that to happen when I reset the tool. If I want to change my Orientation, I will do that separately.
They are not the same thing, disconnect the settings, please.
