The instructions supplied by Capture One seem pretty comprehensive - don't know what else you need, really...

Thank you EtMRS.. that's exactly right... it is precisely a 'further investment' scenario.

    - Is my D600 too old to proficiently function in C1?

    - Will it be painfully slow in transferring photos to my computer during a live photo session?

    - Are there any recommendations and/or peripherals to aid in the workflow/transfer from my camera to C1?

Yes.. I have the cable that came with my camera when I bought it brand new. It is USB-A to USB2-mini. I've connected to both camera and Mac, but C1 is not recognizing the camera... nothing comes up on the screen. Perhaps I'm missing a step in getting the camera to interphase properly. I'm using C1 Express at the moment as I want to make sure I've got this connection issue figured out before I purchase C1 Pro.

Any further assistance would be greatly appreciated.
