I had a similar situation when i wanted to upgrade from 20 to 21 on my mojave computer. Since I was going to upgrade anyways, they told me to purchase my license. After payment, CP will send you a code. Unfortunately they do not support anything earlier than CP22 for trial anymore. I therefore purchased my license and was able to download CP21 for my mac and CP22 on my window 10 computer and still have one more activation avail.

Hi Cary. Thanks for your reply. Pretty sad state of affairs when the 'community' has to fill in the blanks as the 'business' just wants your money. Think I'll stick to my old version of Lightroom. I'm sure the people from Capture One will never know this or care. There's so many posts on here saying we can use old versions of Capture One on old Mac OS but then I have no way of testing this out. Free trial - not for everyone.

I really don't know what your problem is.

Although the latest licence key will activate older versions of Capture One, you can't buy obsoleted versions of the software (not from Capture One, not from anyone else - you can't buy defunct versions of LightRoom, either) so it would be illogical on its face to provide trials of software you can no longer buy.

It's not Capture One's fault that you are using an old version of your OS.
