I'm having the same issue myself, I have an open ticket with C1, will probably take them 2 months to get back to me just to ask if my software is up to date. If I figure it out, I'll post.

Did you notice by chance if it was like this in 15.3 before the 15.3.1 update?

Capture One version 15.2.2.4 doesn't have this issue, but all versions after do.

I guess we'll just have to wait until the next version.

uninstalled/reinstalled/created new catalogs - nothing fixed it. Must be something they did with an update and don't care to fix it.

@Cory, I suspect the issue was introduced as part of their UI upgrade, and so can't be resolved by us. I do feel your frustration, this issue threw me off my workflows.

Fixes like this do require an investigation to see where it originated from, and can become complicated if the fix is coupled with another feature.

It does suck that we can't use this helpful tool, but all software have their own unique issues. C1 still gives enough of an advantage with their other features that it's still tough to look into moving to LR (as a Fuji shooter though).

I found this thread and was upset at first, but after updating, it looks like the feature is restored.

    Update to 15.4.2 !

From release notes: „Fixed a bug where the Synchronize feature would not remove photos from Capture One, even though they had been deleted from disk.“

It took a few versions but they finally got to fixing this issue! Very excited to have this feature back!

And that's correct, version 15.4.2 is the first version that's resolved this issue.
