Cloud Alternative.
Is there a way to transfer from Capture One iPad to Capture One Mac, without using the cloud?

Sure. I personally use iCloud and Files to create a folder that can be synced with my catalog. If you want more info on this then let me know :)
You could also try the methods outlined here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201302
Are you having trouble with Cloud Transfer or would you just like an alternative method?

Yes I would like information on how to import my photos using Capture One for iPad to my files folder on my iPad.
How compatible is the Capture One for iPad catalog system, with the Mac Desktop Capture One Pro catalog system? Can I create a catalog in C1 for iPad on an SSD and then plug the same SSD into my Mac and do an import from catalog? Can I simple open the catalog in C1 Pro for Desktop?
Cloud transfer is slow and frankly who needs another cloud platform :)

Well, my workflow is to have an album in my Photos app, that I periodically transfer over into a folder in Files - this folder is referenced in my Capture One Pro catalog and then all I have to do is right-click and select 'synchronize' whereby the images get added as soon as they are available locally after syncing with iCloud.
What you've described is not how Capture One for iPad was designed, or intended to be used, but I don't see the harm in trying it out. If you don't feel like messing around with your own catalog, I'm more than happy to try this out myself here at HQ. Let me know!
