Crop ratio selection won't stick

When working in a single session, I was previously able to set the crop tool for a custom ratio (say "11x14") and then the CO crop tool would remember that as my preferred ratio for any image in the session.

Now I have to re-select the ratio for each individual frame as-needed in the crop tool.  What is going on? I first noticed this problem in the previous version of 15.  I just updated to 15.3.3 and it is still acting incorrectly. 

I see this was a bug 5 years ago, now it is back.

  There were a lot of complaints about this when the "new improved" Crop feature was introduced in v15. Capture One's response was to add a Preference for the Crop too. You can now set the tool to whichever default you prefer. Still not like pre-15, but better than it was originally.

  Thank You for this comment.  I now see that in preferences I can choose "use global aspect ratio".  Now it works as I expect, snapping to "11x14" once I touch the crop handles.  This used to be the default, If I remember correctly.
