dot net problem

I'm getting an error when I try to open Capture 1 22.  It says To run this application, you must install missing frameworks for .NET.  I downloaded 6.0.8 and installed it.  Still doesn't open and gives the same error message.  I know other people have this problem but no one seems to have the solution.  Any ideas?

  Try also installing v4.8 (can be side by side). Different parts of the program use different versions of .NET
  The strange thing you and other users have is that the C1 installer apparently failed to install these prerequisites, while it used to do this if not already installed.

  had the same issue, downloaded the .NET Desktop Runtime v6 and it's fine now
