I've encountered several issues when floating the Layer Tool to make better use of my widescreen monitor, and I'm curious if anyone else has experienced these:
1. Occasionally renaming a layer becomes incredibly slow. Literally a second for each character typed. Restarting Capture One seems to remedy it. Docking the Layer Tool also fixes it.
2. After clicking on the float Layer Tool window, say to perform a masking function like fill or luma range, the shortcut keys on the image stop working. So functions like M, B, E, ... which I use all the time cease to respond. To fix it, I'm force to select the title bar of the main Capture One screen to regain the input focus. Imagine performing lots of switching between the main window and the Layer Tool window - or other floating Tool windows.
Both of these issues are incredibly annoying, and really impact my workflow. I float the Layer Tool because it saves lots of scrolling in the main tool panel. I'm wondering if other floated tool windows would have the similar problems now.
