Connecting Nikon Z9 wireless to C1 on Mac
Every time I try to connect my Z9, I get the error message: The camera could not be attached. The Nikon Z9 rejected the connection. The camera is connected to the wifi and it displayed as selectable.

I’m getting the same thing. It only happened when I try to “direct connect” through the server that the camera creates. It works when I use the “Search for WiFi” option. You may have this already but Here is a link on how to setup using both options. Try the WiFi version. You should have no problems.

If you figure out the issue for the direct connect option, please post here.

Just to update, I’m not sure if CP1 undated anything since my comment 2 days ago, but I contacted Nikon and there are no issues on their end as to the Z9’s connectivity. After trying again both “direct connect” and “WiFi” options are working. I simply deleted old profiles created and started over when creating a direct connect to camera and WiFi option and they seemed to work fine. I will say with the WiFi option (Which I prefer least) it seems to be heavily dependent on your internet speeds when it comes to reliability and staying connected. I use greenlight at home and in studio and it worked fine however, I tried in a neighboring studio on slower internet speeds and it would disconnect from time to time. That said, use fast internet when going with the WiFi option. Lastly, be prepared to purchase and take extra batteries when using either one of these features because they literally drain battery life by the minute. I tested both options and barely got through an hour shoot in studio on one battery using both options.

Thank you very much for the directions but I can't connect the machine either in wifi mode via rooter or in direct mode to the computer via the camera wifi. I get this error
