    Good day Gert,
the problem you mentioned has already been addressed here several times in the forum. Please use the search function of the forum.
Since yesterday the new C1 version 23 is also available.

Thank you. I did a surge, but could not find it. I'll give it another try.

C1 v23 did not bring so much appealing new features for me, so I decided not to upgrade this time.

    Best, Gert Germeraad

In some cases we hear from other users who also have problems that after reinstalling C1 on Ventura the problem is solved.

It would also be interesting to know what kind of Mac (CPU, Ram etc) you are working with.

Ok, Then I understand that C1 v22 doesn't run on Mac OS Ventura, yet. Will this issue be solved in the near future, or is my only option to update to C1 v23?

Hi Hans-Georg, Thank you for your support. I have a Macbook Pro, 16 inch, 2021, Apple M1 Max, 64 Gb RAM. OK specs, I would say..

    Best Gert G.

A calibrated second screen is part of my set-up.

This is beyond my knowledge. Due to the fact that version 23 has been released, I personally have little hope. But as I said, this is my opinion. With the problem you have you are not alone. I must say that I did not have this problem with version 22 with Ventura. Caused by the fact that I have the subscription model, have performed an update to 23. Otherwise I would not have switched to version 23.

I also use a M1 chip and agree with you that the equipment is sufficient.

Thanks for the tip: C1 works again after uninstalling and reinstalling!

    Hello Gert,
I'm glad I could help you so that you can continue working with C1. Because I know from my own experience how it is when you can no longer work with a program from one day to the next.

    Greetings Hans-Georg

Yeah, thank you. It's quite annoying when you simply want to get to work and the set-up is not functioning. It took me an hour, but now it is working fine again.

Good thing that I made a back-up of my settings before uninstalling, so I don't have to start from scratch, making new workspaces and short cuts... :-)

    Best regards, Gert

Yes, a backup is always worth its weight in gold and should not be underestimated.

I'm tired of having to got through this, what seems like month after month, with Capture One. This is a tool we make our living with Phase One!!! Do you not understand this?

I agree -- mine won't start either. I don't have and hour to blow on this problem. It's already taken me 3 hours this month to work out bugs with C1. I was on a shoot last week and it failed. Really disappointed at the low functionality of C1 these days.

Yup. It's ALWAYS something with C1. I'm literally using it now and something as simple  as 'resetting adjustments' isn't working when I 'select all'. I'm so tired of C1 and their BS. It's amateur hour.
