Bought this camera yesterday and it seems unsupported

Probably should have checked first, then:

    https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002718118-Camera-models-and-RAW-files-supported-by-Capture-One#h_0db21c85-0097-4e22-b300-a1aa6503397c

Does C1 have a beta with support to help me out on a shoot?

A beta on a brand new release? Doesn't happen.

Or when can we expect an update?

When it happens. Capture One does not pre-announce camera support.

Sony A7R V support should´n be long in coming. Affinity has it already.

Not true. Watch this page: https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/articles/4722081941277-Upcoming-camera-support-in-Capture-One

Yes - when I wrote "watch", I meant "click the Follow button". Then you get the info automatically once we announce something. Note that an announcement is not a promise. The nature of software engineering is that sometimes unforeseen problems turn up late.

Sony A7RV support is already in 23 so no reason it shouldn't be in 22.

Anybody else outraged that 22 doesn't support Sony A7RV?

I understand you can't roll back a feature several versions before, but at least cover the latest and the previous one? Especially considering 22 was the latest until a couple of months ago. It's like saying that the new iOS works only with the new iPhone.

Anybody else really mad at CaptureOne?

I am also disappointed at CaptureOne.

I bought CaptureOne Pro 22 Perpetual version only a few months ago, recently upgrade to Sony A7R V and the program does not support the new camera.

I don't need any of the new features in CaptureOne 23, so paying another few hundreds dollars just to make the program works with the new camera is just too much. I think the developer should provide free updates to get supports for new cameras for 2-3 years after purchase of their program.

Paying for new features in a new version is ok, but having to pay every time you get a new camera is not ok, so what's the point of buying the 'perpetual' version?

I switched from Canon to Sony because I didn't feel right supporting a company that forced customers into an expensive, inconvenient, and arbitrary circumstances just to play the game with their brand. I'm starting to feel the same way about C1 after having purchased the license in November and now being unable to use it with my A7RV. Lightroom is good enough for what I do.
