Export Collection as Session

CO1 offers the "Export Collection as Catalog". I would appreciate an option "Export Collection as Session" as I sometimes would like to takle individual collections with me on a smaller laptop and it would be great to be able to just take sessions with me.

  All my images live in the file system outside the catalog, I would like to keep it that way, also for exported sessions (and in sessions, they always live outside).

  In a catalog, you have the option of images living inside the catalog, or outside.

  You can export as a session, if you like. One way would be

  • create the session
  • go back to the catalog
  • select all the images you want to export (probably easiest to drag them all to an album, especially if they are not all currently co-located)
  • choose File>Export>Export originals...
  • make sure that the target location is set to one of the session folders - perhaps the Selects folder
  • make sure you have checked the button to Include adjustments (and optionally check the box to pack as EIP)
  • click the button
