Version 23 Requirements

Its unacceptable that Capture One like so many Mac software upgrades are forcing prof. users to throw out valuable hardware. Many photographers are running their business with very little room to invest in a total revamp of perfectly good hardware. Seriously does Capture One 23 really need macOS 11 as the min? that would really suck and very disappointing .I wonder how many photographers will not be upgrading to Capture One 23.

  Ok, I have to chime in here. Mac OS 11 is 2 years old, and here is the supported hardware for macOS11:

  • MacBook Air (2013 or later)
  • MacBook Pro (Late 2013 or later)
  • Mac mini (2014 or later)
  • iMac (2014 or later)
  • iMac Pro (2017 or later)
  • Mac Pro (2013 or later)

  That stuff is ancient. Ancient. If you are disappointed by that, then this is your right. If you are a photographer that is shopping for pro level software like CaptureOne and you are running an iMac from 2013.... sorry.
