Capture One 23 - annoying "little things"
I've been using Capture One for a very long time. Each subsequent version - more or less better. Cool. I've always been in love with working on this program and I thought the interface was perfect. Unfortunately, irritation is common these days.
1. New icons for the tool panels.
the previous ones were perfect. Simple, legible, compact. The current icons are illegible, childish, take up a lot of space, inconsistent with the rest of the interface, irritating.. I am begging for a return to the old icons, or the possibility of choosing. It's such a little thing and so important.
2. I sometimes use older versions of the program. It's never been a problem - now I have to re-login to version 23 every time when I use the older version. Why? I hope that it will be possible to change it and there will be no need to log in after each use of a different version of the program.
I hope that each subsequent version will continue to be more and more perfect - what I wish to the authors and users :)

Yes, new icons don't look professional.. It was communicated to CO but no idea why they have this...

Maybe the old icons are too small on 4k/5k monitors so they wanted to offer something bigger? (don't know it for sure, I'm still with 2k monitors).
I suspected a similar reason when C1 increased the maximum zoom level from 400% to 1600% a few versions back, [Irony on] so maybe they are following a long-term plan to finally support these hi-res monitors (with even a nice performance boost)... [Irony off]
I actually like the icons being bigger especially on my 13'' 2k laptop, the design I don't care so much (though the new icons don't fit very well to all other still old-design icons).
Different resolutions or densities (pixel per monitor-inch) and different users eye's abilities might require smaller or bigger icons, so I think two configurable sets of icons could be a value-add.

I agree with new icons being annoying and not logical, the older symbols were much more logical. Another solution is to give the Customer a choice; for example in preferences old backward compatible symbols or new style symbols!
