PROBLEM IN THE EXPORT AND CLONING TOOLS IN CAPTURE ONE23. Support doesnt help!!!!!
Hi
A week ago I updated to version 23 (16.0.1), before I had 22 and I had no problems in my workflow.
I use:
a Macbook Pro Retina mid 2014
with operative system catalina 10.15.7
16Gb RAM
NVIDIA GFORCE GT 750m 2GB Intel Iris pro 1536Mb
When I use the clone tool stripes appears on the image and the whole system becomes unstable, after that i have to reboot,
But the main problem is when I try to generate photos with theI export tool and the pictures come out black or with stripes
I need to do deliveries to my customers and I can't beacuse this problems
Please help me, what do you recommend?
Thanks

Did you try to switch off hardware acceleration?

Also, Capture One 23 doesn't support Catalina according to the list here.

I'm going to try deactivating the hardware acceleration
I am also going to do a downgrade to finish my work and then I will update the Operating System
thank you both!0 -
Hi OddS.
I upgraded to the macOS Big Sur version
But the problem still occurs
I turned off hardware acceleratio and it seems to be working
Do you know the consequences of making this change?
Is it because my macbook is old?
Thank you very much!

I have a 2013 build MacBook pro with the same RAM, running Catalina which (unexpectedly) runs version 23 surprisingly well. I was hesitant though upgrading from v22 as I know it’s not officially supported, but the advice on this forum was to give it a try - and it worked. Sorry I can’t help you.

Some operations may run faster if your application can offload work to a graphics board. You may or may not notice a difference.
Hardware acceleration can fail for a number of reasons, but driver version mismatch has appeared to be one common reason. Capture One expects one driver version for your graphics board while a different version is installed. Some users report it works when they turn acceleration back on.

If it works for you with it turned off, then that is an improvement. You may have tracked down the cause of the issue you were seeing. If you don't notice an unworkable slow-down then you could just leave it at that.
Otherwise, you could try rebuilding kernels following the instructions here
- scroll down until you get to the MacOS section. It's not as scary or difficult as it sounds!
