Is it possible to display thumbnails without the cropping mask?
Normally thumbnails are rendered with the cropping mask, that is also portions of the image that have been cut away are rendered, even though shaded. It makes sense for some people and in some cases.
But I'd like to see only the cropped part, that is the image as it will exported. Is it possible?

In Capture One Preferences > Crop > change Show from "Always" to "Never". I'm still using CO22 but suspect it is the same for CO23.

Unfortunately not. The preference settings Robert is talking about, are only valid for the viewer. They don't affect thumbnails.

Bumping this topic as Im trying to solve this as well. When you crop heavily on an image the thumbnail will be hard to cypher. Any ideas out there?

So it seems it's not supported. I'm going to file a request for a new feature.
