Is there anyone here...
... for whom Capture One 16.1 works without problems?

Very bad update. MacOS Ventura + CO1 16.1.1 here - application is slow, constantly freezing, cannot delete images from session, now crashing after start. I gonna try to return back to latest 16.0.x until the fix 16.1.

It works for me on MacOS Ventura 13.2.1. Are you seeing problems? If so what are they and what version of MacOS are you on?

Some DNG are not recognized anymore in 16.1 while they were fine in 16.0.1. See:

It works fine for me on macOS Monterey version 12.6.3. Also I have no problems that individual files are not displayed.

Got around to testing it both on macOS Ventura 13.2.1 Intel and Arm64 and can verify the attached file cannot be read on both machines using C1 16.1. Please can somebody verify this.

I can confirm that Capture One 23 (build 16.1) on MacOS Ventura 13.2.1 doesn't see this file in the import window, and if I drag it into a session folder, it doesn't show up in Capture One that way either.
On the other hand Lightroom Classic opens it fine. So does Affinity Photo 2.

Hi Ian,
going back to 16.0.1 you will see that it works again. Then going back to 16.1 you can see the file in the catalog but C1 cannot get any info from the file.

Alphonse,
I can import this in the last version of Capture One 15, but not Capture One 16.1, both using MacOS Ventura 13.2.1. It does not show in the import window. I can import other DNG files larger and smaller than your DNG file with version 16.1.
Possible sources of your problem:
1. Leica M240 DNG's are not compatible with Capture One 16.1
2. If other DNGs from Leica M240 can be read, this file has a unique problem.
3. Interaction between version 16.1 and/or the operating system with your DNG file. I can also import the file into Mac's Photos, but I cannot drag and drop it onto the Photos application icon, I get an error message (below). I do not get this message with other DNG files that I can drop onto the Photos app icon. So, Mac OS sees something different about your file. However, this error may have resulted for me because it was downloaded via the link you provided. It could have affected importing the downloaded file into Capture One 16.1. In short, my ability to replicate your problem may be complicated by the way in which the file was downloaded from Safari via via the link you provided.
This seems like a problem best referred to Capture One support staff.

It is a regression in C1 16.1 as the previous version 16.0.1 works fine. It happens "randomly" with some perfectly fine DNG's not being recognized anymore. I've filed a bug report, it is a showstopper, wonder how long before they fix it.
