Keystone tool: Loupe showing position of adjustment points
Not currently plannedWhat problem do you see this solving?
When you making keystone adjustments manually (i.e. by placing the four adjustment points and then clicking 'Apply'), you currently have to zoom in and out and pan around an image in order to place the adjustment points precisely where you want them. Obviously this is a somewhat awkward method.
A loupe showing the exact position of the adjustment points while you drag and place them would make it much easier as well as faster to place them correctly.
Manual adjustments are almost always required also when using auto-keystone, as the latter, even when it does produce reasonable results, is very rarely 100% precise. Consequently, the lack of a loupe affects almost all keystone adjustments.
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
I'm affected by this every time I use the keystone tool, which I do often.
Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?
I know of no workarounds, other than panning and zooming in and out as described above.
Are you happy to be contacted further about this suggestion or request?
Yes.

Hi Thomas,
Thank you for the suggestion - this is not something we are currently working on.This does not mean this is a bad suggestion or that it will never be adressed, but in an effort of transparency we want you to know that we are not currently allocating resources to solving this issue.
We will revisit the status of this thread if and when it changes.

Thomas Kyhn Thank you for being the first one with a post in here! But please use the template provided in the pinned post for future feature requests or feedback. Cheers :)

I've updated this request with more details (and will go over my other requests again). I've read through the template and tried to include everything of relevance to this request.

That is greatly appreciated Thomas Kyhn – thanks a lot!

Damned! I miss this option every single day.
I honestly do not understand why Capture One stopped on the way. The circles are already implemented.
Imagine having a 100% zoom (even better make it configurable) pressing the shift key when you move each point. That would be so powerful.Actually it's looking more as a bug than anything else....

Basically, the whole keystone tool would be much more useful if we had 4 independent lines at our disposal - like in Lightroom or ACR. Zoom would be great too!

There's a request for independent adjustment lines/points here.

Loupe tool was integrated with Keystone tool in one of the Beta testing package recently. As, I found a bug that it broke exiting Loupe tool, I reported it. My guess is that it was Development (Programming) error not a Design. Surprisingly it was not only removed from that release but also in subsequent releases as well. I don't know why this feature request is shut down...
I had been asking for the following upgrades in Keystone Tool..
1. Independent guidelines
2. Link Loupe tool to aid control points placement precisely.
3. Option to lock control points once the position is finalized (may be right-click)

I've just found a macOS workaround that seems to be decently effective (just used a couple of times in the past ten minutes). Under macOS Ventura (possibly an earlier version too, but I've discovered this feature only now) it is possible to configure the display zoom so that a system loupe is created instead of zooming the whole screen. Below there's the System Settings dialog where the option can be activated.
Obviously this is not the same thing as a loupe in C1 (that would be able to display more details than those on the screen), but if you have a high density display it might be enough.
