At first I wanted to vote for this request as well because I also quite often use C1 on a Surface device. But then I thought: isn't this something we could already achieve? You can hide the browser and drag the necessary tools out of the toolbar and make them floating by doing so. You can even stick the together as one floating window. Thereafter you can hide the original toolbar and save this as a worspace preset so you can easily switch between the regular view and this "laptop workspace".

This is how it looks like:

You can even go full screen with this and hide the menu bar (by pressing F)

press f and it takes you to this and the side menu are hidden but if you move pointer over the the side they appear and you can pick or use quick edit shortcut keys

Thank you for both of these suggestions I have hidden the browser and tools panel but never thought of saving as a workspace.
    I wasn’t aware of the f shortcut !

Hi there guys my name is LUIGI VALCARCEL..a Commercial Photography photographer currently based in San Diego,CA USA & New to C1 just bought a few days C1 Pro (but can't access it jet  ) . Just an innocent question - I am also a laptop user MacBookPro M1 Ventura 13.2.1 - If it is a matter of photo size when editing thru a laptop..why don't you shift to 24 inches  screen size monitor ? ( I use a BenQ SW240 of 24 in ) . Would that be useful for you guys laptop users ? LUIGI

I'd like to see full-screen editing for any size monitor.

    @ luigi valcarcel
Yes a second monitor is of course a possible solution but unfortunately not always practical especially if using the laptop on location.

I mean the first and second comment within this thread we are currently looking at. The comments from Thomas and myself. We described several ways how to achieve what to topic opener describes, in my opinion.
