As with all Panasonic cameras, this will be file support only and will not include tethering support.

Slava Grebenkin Support will come in Q2. I've updated the title of the post to reflect this

Hi Jack. Will this include tether support?

We finally need tether support for Panasonic Cameras, atleast for the S Series. What can we as a community do, to speed up the process?

The Camera is 3 Months on market and i can not open my S5ii RAW in C1??? that's disappointing

Excited for the C1 support for the S5ii, I just picked one up to serve as my video camera/backup photo camera. Will be really nice to start using it for it's intended purpose.

I think include tether support - secondary task.
Now the most important thing is to release the profile as soon as possible. Ideally, the image should match the colors of S1, S1R cameras.

Why wouldn't Capture One support Tethering on Panasonic cameras? Seems like one of the headline features of the software and to exclude an entire camera brand from that seems kinda silly. Unless there is a specific reason it seems like getting this support should be a priority for the development team.

Here is my vote/request for RAW support for the new Panasonic Lumix S-5 Mark II.

+1 for RAW support!

Yes, why wouldn't Capture One support Tethering on Panasonic cameras? But great to see that Raw support for S5II is in the works!

Jack Williams tell please, any release dates known?
Production got up in the studio, we are thinking about an alternative.
Support coming out this week? In a week, in a month, or in six months?2 -
Slava Grebenkin I can't be any more specific than "Q2" which means this camera will be supported by the end of June.

Wow i use only C1 and have no Photoshop. 4 Month after release and i can not use RAW. What is the reason?
And Capture One, please make take Metadata into the Videos Files for People who make holidays and make fotos and videos. Capture One can not can read the Metadada and the Time when i make the Video, It is immpossible to have Libary with C1 with Foto and Video. Windows Foto and all other Prgramms can do this.

Even the S5IIx (new model released in May) will not have tethering support? Since the camera itself has native tethering with the lumix software? (which the S5II does not have)

Really hoping RAW support and Tethering support will be available for Lumix S5 II very soon. I have few reasons why I choose Capture One over Lightroom, unfortunately capture one support for new cameras and lenses is slower than Lightroom.

Very disappointed to see that there is no support for RAW files from the Lumix S5 II. Even FastStone Viewer can read them... Do I have to switch back to Lightroom?

On the other hand, for Z8 you were very quick to introduce compatibility. It is clear that there are privileged brands and others less important for Capture One. Consequently, if you are a professional who uses Panasonic S5IIs either change brands or change software.

How much money Nikon gives you?

Almost had a heart attack when I attempted to import a wedding I did yesterday with my rented Lumix S5ii and only the Videos showed up in the import window!! Then I examined the SDCards and saw the RW2 files and went from panic-mode to relief!! Then I thought, "How could a company like Capture One let Adobe beat them to supporting this new camera?!" Thanks for the new headache and near heart attack!! Guess now's a good time to try out Lightroom. How many months will I have to wait? Need to tell the bride it's your fault that I won't be able to deliver Capture One colors!! PS I'm thinking about purchasing this camera but if Capture One isn't going to support it, I may need to re-think my strategy.

Just reminding the Capture One people that the SDK for tethering is available on the Lumix website.... No excuse not to have tethering support for Panasonic cameras https://av.jpn.support.panasonic.com/support/global/cs/soft/tool/sdk.html

Panasonic S5 II & IIx implemented with CO Pro 16.2.1, which is now available for download
