Please improve (de)activating multiple layers
What problem do you see this solving?
(De)activating multiple layers in one go is a hassle. So is deleting multiple layers. Being able to take care of multiple layers in one go would speed things up and save many clicks.
As an example, I could see this working for (de)activating layers:
- Click-and-holding a layer’s tick box and dragging up or down across tick boxes of adjacent layers to select multiple layers in one go, like in Photoshop’s layers palette.
Additionally, if (de)selecting multiple layers for deletion would be possible, I could imagine the interaction to be similar to selecting multiple files/folders in an operating system:
- Clicking one layer and shift-clicking another layer to select all layers in between these two.
- Alt/Option-clicking layers to select multiple, non-sequential layers.
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
I’m a heavy user of layers and work with multiple layers for every image. Therefore, I run into this problem every time I use Capture One.
Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?
There are no workarounds. I can only do one layer at a time.
Are you happy to be contacted further about this suggestion or request?
Yes
