FIXED: Mac - Memory leaks in Capture One 23
Update 14th of June:
The new release of Capture One 16.2.2 is available for download. Please update the software since in this release the majority of memory leaks should be fixed.
As these memory leaks can have different root causes it could be that this fix does not cover the full spectrum of these memory leaks as is very dependent on the user's setups.
You can download the latest Capture One 23 (16.2.2) here and view the release notes here.
If you still experiencing this issue in Capture One 16.2.2, please contact support, for your case to move forward is very important that you include your Capture One logs (username/Library/Application Support/Logs), System Report (About This Mac > More Info > System Report) and Analysis of the Capture One process when it is paused due to RAM consumption (Activity Monitor > select process > select Sample Process from the three-dots-button in the top bar of Activity Monitor). And a screen recording of your usual workflow when experiencing this issue.
If you are suffering from memory leaks that prevent you to use Capture One, it will help a lot to speed up the investigation process if you could send us a Suport ticket with the following information:
