Yes, that's what happened. It is something new to me though. There was no indication or any alert except Capture One error. Lesson learned.

The problem has been solved after intensive research overnight. I switched off Dropbox and Google Drive. After that Capture One instantly recognised the camera. It seems to be a computer OS malfun...
