Just because some users like to have 9 and 8 version in parallel for example, and C1 is installed without installer.

There is no automated way to do that except manual. Ian3 suggestion of using layers is single way to accomplish your work directly in C1.

It is specific to large displays, because preview size is large, and C1 recalculates it each time(at least it looks so).
