Just update to 8.3.4 and all issues should be solved. Finally drivers that comes with OS works like a charm for me. But for build in video card.

Yes, you need to create an album before import, that quite odd, but C1 assumes that you want to import ither directly to catalog and sort them into albums or assumes that you already created album ...

Ok, so you are adding lens tag to ARW. Correct?As I understand the problem that you are edditing RAW file, and that causing problem.

Yeh, NAS setup is completely not reccomended if you want fast workflow, that is why my active catalog is always on my SDD.Then it works.Otherwise you getting to issues that you just described.

There is no actual need of smart albums for functionality that you've outlined. You can use filters in filters section!For that reason I never use smart albums
