Global Keywords in sessions
I have a session with many levels of folders. If I am in one folder, and tag a bunch of pics with a keyword, I can only filter and 'see' them if I am on THAT specific folder in the library pane. There is an icon within the folder sessions pane at the top for 'all images', but when I click that, then filter for my keywords, it comes up blank.
Just wondering if I am missing a step, or if this is simply the cost of using sessions without a catalog (I am guessing the later, which is a pain). Could I get around this with a 'smart album' that looks for only that keyword? Would this search all sub folders of whatever folder is selected in the library? That would be great, but so far I am out of luck...
ADVthanksANCE for any insights....
Cheers!

If you right-click in that folder and choose "Add to favorites" the folder appears under Favorirtes and all its images appear under All Images.
Don't add hundreds of folders it will slow down the session noticably. A catalog would be better suited then.
EDIT: This confirms my findings with too many favorites:

Thanks for getting back to me. I see now that this only works for images directly in the folder added to session favourites. (Not very useful). Is it possible to convert a session into a catalog (avoiding losing the several hours of work sorting and tagging)...
...here's hoping!!
Cheers!
