HELP! Tethered photos are gone from computer after computer restarted.
HELPP! Today I forgot to create a session and started shooting in a catalog. After a few hours of shooting, my computer power cord was accidentally pulled resulting in the computer shutting down in the middle of my tethered shoot. Capture one was not saved / exited since the computer shut off, so when I restarted it the files were all gone. I searched recent images, NEF (the file extension), library, pictures folder, etc. I can't find them anywhere.
I did a test to figure out what may have happened and this was the result -
I shot a photo tethered to my MAC, then closed the program and opened it up again... the photo was there. I then shot a few more photos then unplugged my computer and restarted it again but this time the new photos were gone -- the first photo I shot was still there (the one that I shot then exited).
Any ideas where my images have gone or how to recover them? Were they temporarily cached and not actually saved? I'm desperate for help since this was a client shoot and I lost her images.

Where did you see it, in Capture One or in Finder? Try to find the file on the file system, maybe if you're lucky the others are there too.

To me, you won’t be able to find NEF images since you shot in a catalog. You need to find the link of this catalog to reopen it on C1, probably in your Pictures Folder on your Mac since it’s set by default
