Capture One 20- imported tiff files change from original size on export. dimensions remain the same, but when blended into original, (not exported from Capture, but Lightroom), image does not align with original
So from what I have stated above, my method of using user Capture One filters and blending at low opacity settings in Photoshop will and does soften the image.
My files were exported from raw in Lightroom, cleaned in PS, then tiff files imported in Capture One 20, multiple user filters applied and exported, then dropped over original and opacity reduced to 15% x 4 filtered tiffs exported from Capture. Noticed at 100% the exported tiffs from Capture do not align with the original tiff, but pixel dims remain the same as the original- Capture export settings are scale fixed. Anyone have an explanation? From now onwards can get over this by exporting a non filtered tiff so all the images are the same, but how can the pixel dims remain the same but the file change size? Thanks. Martin

Is it possible that one or other of the apps (LR, PS or C1) applies something like a lens distortion correction?
