Eye Thumbnail Can't Edit

Hi all!

I've come across this issue from time to time, but again I just received 20 PSD files and 10 of them have the eye icon on them in CaptureOne Pro so I can't edit them.  If I export the PSD's in photoshop to TIF or JPEG, I still can't edit them in CaptureOne.  Does anyone know how to unrestrict access to file or maybe some way to convert them into another file format.
