Assistance Needed: Camera Settings Converting Raw Files to JPEG in Capture One
Dear Support Team,
I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to seek assistance regarding an issue I am facing with my Sony A74 camera when using it in conjunction with Capture One during live photoshoots.
Previously, I had successfully set up my camera to shoot in RAW format, ensuring that the highest quality images were captured. However, recently I noticed that the files being displayed in the Capture One filmstrip info are listed as JPEGs, despite my camera settings being configured for RAW capture. This unexpected conversion to JPEG format is causing inconvenience and a loss of the desired image quality.
I believe the issue started after I performed a firmware update on my camera approximately a month ago. Since then, I have been unable to resolve the problem, and it persists even after multiple attempts to troubleshoot on my own.
I am reaching out to you as a valued customer and an enthusiast of your software to seek guidance and find a solution to this issue. Could you kindly provide me with the necessary steps or settings adjustments to rectify this problem? I am keen to continue using Capture One with my Sony A74 and ensure that I can capture images in their original RAW format during my live photoshoots.
Your prompt attention and support in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. If there are any additional details or information required from my end, please do not hesitate to let me know.
Thank you in advance for your assistance. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Best regards, Mariana !

If you carried out a firmware update, it is possible that the camera has been reset to its default settings. Are you sure it is still shooting raw? Also if you copy some pictures from the memory card to the computer without using Capture One - perhaps just using Finder - can you confirm that they are raw files and not JPGs?
